I thought of my youngest son Matt. He used to be frightened of clowns. This face reminded me of an evil clown.
This gorgeous dragon is part of the ceiling detail in the stunning temple I visited today. What is amazing is that many people never bother looking up to see it.
This golden incense burner greets you at the temple entrance. The eyes are red glass or rubies and shine ominously. If you are a bad spirit, or an ill wind, stay away!
There were scores of stone carved figures all over the outside of the temple entrance.
